The Beauty Of Releasing Fear.
--
Today, the world is getting scarier by the second. Unforeseen circumstances that can alter one's entire reality. Without a heads up or a news update prior to a life changing event, how can one be prepared for the negative energies and evil doers who roam this earth?
How can we really prepare for the chaotic events that are meant to destroy us in this world?
Preparation in terms of mental, physical and spiritual are all key elements in the guide to fearing no evil. Certain situations are indeed inevitable with negative impacts on our positive perspectives of reality.
The truth is, certain loads are so much lighter when acceptance is the surface of one's understanding. It’s the key element to not being disappointed. Similar to expectations, when the odds are in plain sight. Accept it for what it is and move accordingly. With acceptance, preparation is a subconscious effort. You’ll respond to situations and circumstances with a reaction that guards you from any impact that disrupts your peace of mind in the now and after. Acceptance is a defense mechanism for unwanted yet anticipated life challenges. It’ll shield one from unrealistic expectations while protecting one from realistic possibilities. Once acceptance is mastered, fear cannot be a controlling factor.
How can one be prepared to face the unexpected?
“Flow with minimum control.”
Unforeseen life roller-coasters are meant to create preparation. Having the understanding that inevitable life circumstances are natural elements of life will create a free flow healing process for when you’re faced with an inevitable situation. That in itself is the key component to not allowing fear to control your life. Teach yourself how to cope with life tragedies, for not having the proper knowledge on certain aspects that cannot be changed or removed from this world, will only cause self destruction. Fear can lead to self destruction. Inevitable circumstances is the main root of growth. Wisdom is obtained through knowledge and experiences. Fear will only interrupt the natural flow cycle created for your life journeys.
Fear isn’t cute for your health.
According to research out of the University of Minnesota, “once the fear pathways are ramped up, the brain short-circuits more rational processing paths and reacts immediately to signals from the amygdala..While fear can play tricks with your memory and your perception of reality. Emotional imbalance from the nerves that occur when fear overtakes the mind and spirit will have a physical affect as well. Feelings of tiredness, lack of motivation, drive, enthusiasm.
One special & quite simple technique to combat fear and the troubles that follow it, is to cultivate a safe space. A safe space can be anything that alters your current reality, while transforming the negatives into positives.
Cultivating your safe space.
Do you have a specific song you listen to when you’re down and feeling blue? Or a hiding spot in your home that’s your go to? These are examples of aspects that can cultivate your safe place. That favorite TV show that makes you laugh like a hyena in a room where no one is watching. The gym, where you can pretend to be a sexy body builder on the verge to ending the worlds crisis of obesity. Church, where you can pray and be in a space where the spirit of God moves you. A long steamy hot shower, where you can wash away the fear of pain or negative feelings that may overwhelm you.
The mind is an extremely powerful weapon and once trained can overcome the battle of fear. Your safe space first starts in your mind. When you form a habitual practice from a positive self-fulfilling prophecy you are now cultivating what it is that makes you happy or what it is that gives you purpose. This can apply for creating your safe space. Form your own habitual practices that make you feel safe from the world and it’s chaos. Eventually you’ll have more than one safe space when in fear, when dealing with stressful situations or just overwhelmed with anxiety.
A safe space to release, reset and recharge yourself is a fundamental necessity for a world like ours and fear should never dictate your greatness in life.
